It is my great joy to be able to facilitate weddings and unions. As a witness and participant in these sacred ceremonies I feel blessed by the love of the couple, and their decision to publicly express their commitment to one another.

As a shaman, weddings are one of the many ways I provide service to the community. 

I am both an ordained minister (non-denominational), and a licensed wedding officiant for the State of Hawaii, performing weddings (and soon to be civil unions) primarily on Oahu.

Weddings

I am available for your wedding, whether it be an intimate beach event with just you and your beloved plus a couple of witnesses, or a larger affair in a local resort or private home. 

It is my intention to fully support you in realizing your dreams for your wedding day, and am able to customize all aspects of the ceremony for you. I can supply sample vows and ceremonies for your reference, or you can write your own. This is your day, how do you want it to unfold? How will you uniquely communicate your love and commitment to each other and the world?

My standard fee for officiating at an Oahu wedding is $200. 

This includes email or phone support during the planning stage, plus one meeting or rehearsal of up to one hour prior to the wedding day, and up to one hour for the actual ceremony itself. Additional fees may be incurred for such things as travel time in excess of 30 minutes (from Honolulu), location permit fees, special attire as requested by the couple, additional meetings, etc. Please contact me directly to discuss your specific needs (contact info below).

A deposit of 50% of the estimated total is due upon booking to confirm the date. Balance is due on the day of the ceremony. The deposit is non-refundable within two weeks of the scheduled wedding day.

Civil Unions

On January 1, 2012 Civil Unions will become legal in the State of Hawaii. It would be my honor to serve as your officiant for your special day. Fees and details are the same as noted above for weddings. Please contact me directly to discuss options.

If you are clients of mine who have a civil union ceremony after January, 2012, then at such time as the State allows same-sex marriage, I would be happy to perform that ceremony for you for no additional fee (some restrictions apply).
